O'Keeffe's Hardware embarked on a significant digital journey to establish a robust online presence. With guidance from their wholesale supplier, United Hardware (www.homevalue.ie), they selected the Shopify platform and were provided with an initial e-commerce theme.

Project Scope & Role

Role: Client Engineer / Project Manager & Website Admin
Objective: Successfully launch and maintain a modern Shopify e-commerce website (www.okhardware.ie) for O'Keeffe's Hardware.

Acting in a similar capacity as the Client Engineer and Project Manager role for O'Keeffe's Oil, I oversaw the initial setup and configuration of the new Shopify environment. Since its launch, I have continued to serve as the dedicated website administrator.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Platform Launch: Coordinated the initial go-live, ensuring the United Hardware provided theme was properly configured and aligned with the brand's digital objectives.
• Ongoing Administration: Managing all ongoing website administration tasks, ensuring the platform remains up-to-date, secure, and fully functional.
• Content & Catalog Management: Regularly updating the extensive product catalog, adjusting pricing, and managing inventory listings to accurately reflect in-store availability.
• Digital Design & Graphics: Leveraging tools like Canva.com to create, update, and deploy fresh, engaging website graphics and promotional content that resonates with the hardware store's customer base.
